System Requirements

Helpmatic Pro system requirements are fairly simple, all you need is a standard PC running any windows version (Windows 95 to Windows 7 are all supported) and the FREE Microsoft Help Workshop.

Vista and Windows 7

To view .hlp help files on a Windows Vista/7 machine, you will need to download and install the WinHelp viewer from Microsoft as Microsoft do not ship the viewer with Windows Vista/7. Also, Microsoft have disabled a few Macros in .hlp help files running on Windows Vista and above. These changes and the WinHelp viewer are detailed here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607
